How we work
The Volta Framework: this is how every engagement works.
Before we recommend anything, you get a 90-day roadmap with named deliverables, milestones, and a reporting schedule. The framework is the same across all eight services. The deliverables are specific to your engagement. Nothing is decided for you — you review and approve every strategic document before work begins.
Discovery
Weeks 1–2
We start with what's actually happening — not what we assume. A full technical audit of your site, a keyword and competitive landscape analysis, a review of your existing content against search demand, and a baseline benchmark across organic traffic, rankings, and (where applicable) paid performance.
What you receive
- Baseline benchmark report: organic sessions by intent tier, current ranking positions, technical health summary
- Competitive gap analysis: where competitors are winning authority you should own
- Prioritised problem list: the issues with the highest impact on your growth trajectory
What we need from you
- Access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics (or equivalent)
- A list of your top 10–15 priority products, services, or offering categories
- One hour for a kickoff call
Strategy
Weeks 3–4
We take the Discovery data and build a strategy specifically for your situation — not a template adapted to fill your name in the header. Keyword architecture, content priorities, technical remediation sequence, authority-building targets, and a month-by-month execution roadmap.
What you receive
- 90-day milestone roadmap: every deliverable, in sequence, with the expected calendar date
- Keyword architecture: search intent mapped to page types and content assets
- Prioritised action list for technical issues (if applicable)
- Reporting format agreed and documented before the first report is sent
What we need from you
- A two-hour strategy review meeting to walk through the roadmap and approve before work begins
- Any business constraints on content topics, competitor mentions, or regulatory language
Execution
Month 2 onwards — ongoing
We build, implement, and publish — sharing every deliverable as it ships. On-page optimisations, content assets, technical fixes, link outreach, and paid campaign structures are delivered in the sequence the roadmap set.
What you receive
- Every deliverable from the roadmap, on schedule
- A short written summary with every delivery: what was done, the rationale, and the expected impact
- Proactive communication when something in the data changes the strategic priority
What we need from you
- Review and approval of content assets before publication (typically a 48-hour turnaround)
- Access for technical implementations (site admin, CMS, Google Tag Manager)
- One monthly reporting call — typically 30–45 minutes; async-only available
Growth
Month 3 onwards — the compounding layer
We measure, adjust, and expand. Ranking movements and traffic data inform the next priority tier. What's working gets doubled down on. What isn't gets diagnosed and either fixed or replaced. We identify the next layer of opportunity and begin the Strategy phase for those areas.
What you receive
- Monthly performance report: organic sessions vs. baseline, rankings, conversion events, next 30-day action list
- Quarterly review: longer-form session reassessing strategy against current business priorities
- A written roadmap extension for the next quarter
Full transparency
What reporting looks like — before you sign.
We describe the reporting format in the Strategy phase, before the first report is sent. No surprises. Here's what a monthly report from Volta Ad contains:
-
Organic traffic vs. baseline — sessions from organic search by intent tier, compared to the baseline and prior month.
-
Priority keyword movements — ranking positions for the agreed keyword set, with movement direction and the ranked page.
-
Deliverables completed this month — what shipped, with links and a one-line note on each.
-
What we're doing next month — the next 30-day deliverable list from the roadmap.
-
One question we're watching — something in the data we haven't fully explained yet. We don't hide uncertainty — we name it.
FAQ
Common questions
The 90-day milestone roadmap sets specific expectations for what you'll see at the 90-day mark. If we haven't hit the milestones we committed to, we diagnose in writing: what changed, what we're adjusting, and the revised timeline. We don't move goalposts without a documented reason.
Discovery and Strategy run for the first four weeks. Some quick-win technical fixes identified in Discovery are implemented immediately and can produce ranking movements before the full strategy is delivered.
Yes. Many engagements combine two to four services — for example, Technical SEO + Content Marketing, or SEO + PPC + CRO. When services are combined, the Volta Framework runs as a single engagement with a unified roadmap, not as separate workstreams with separate reporting.
